Red Panda Band is a High Energy Cover Band
Red Panda Band (RPB) is 4 piece garage rock band, with Eric on lead/rhythm guitar, Michele on Bass, and Peter on drums, backing up powerhouse vocalist Joy.
A local band, from northern Illinois, formed in early 2020, right before the pandemic hit. Eric (guitar) and Michele (bass) are husband and wife. They have been active in local community theater productions, acting on stage, as well as playing in pit bands. They met Joy, when another band they were in, was looking for a lead vocalist. Joy auditioned (for that band) and they were all blown away by her stage presence and powerhouse vocals. When that band broke up, Eric, Michele, and Joy formed Red Panda Band. Joy previously has performed with Neighborhood Trouble, the Whiskey Kitten Band, and has been involved for the last several years, with the annual Winnetka fundraiser show “The Village Follies”. Keeping the beat, is the awesome Peter on drums. Pete has previously played with country artist Jim Gaff, Gasoline n Matches, and the Wads…to name a few.
